Resting Bell is the studio I work out of in Point Lonsdale, Victoria.

It is built on the land of the Waddawurrung people.

The design is based on the sound of a small hall, it has a piano or two, lots of instruments and mics, a plate reverb, a super dry isolation booth, natural light and enough room for people to play together. Everything we need to make beautiful records.

Musicians are invited to stay in a small bungalow that has a kitchenette, a bathroom and a double bed. Bands can throw a few mattresses on the studio floor or there is excellent local accomodation at the Point Lonsdale Guest House.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians are offered a discounted rate, in the spirit of paying the rent.
